About this location
A tiger reserve in Angul and Nayagarh districts protecting dry sal forest and the scenic Satkosia gorge on the Mahanadi river. The 22 km gorge — one of the deepest in India — is a critical gharial habitat and offers extraordinary landscape and wildlife photography.
