About this location
Anamudi Shola protects a slice of high-altitude shola-grassland forest in the Western Ghats near Munnar, directly adjoining Eravikulam National Park. Small and less visited than its famous neighbour, it extends the same shola-forest and montane grassland ecosystem that supports the Nilgiri tahr.
