About this location
High-altitude shola grassland park protecting the Anamudi plateau — at 2,695m, the highest peak in peninsular India. Home to the world's largest surviving Nilgiri tahr population in stunning open grassland scenery, with endemic Western Ghats birds in the surrounding shola forest.
