Safari Zones
Corbett is divided into several tourism zones, each with its own gate and permit quota. Dhikala is the most famous, allowing overnight stays in the core; Bijrani, Jhirna, Dhela, Durga Devi and Garjia are day-safari zones inside the tiger reserve. Sitabani and Phato are outside the reserve in the Ramnagar forest division and are good fallbacks. Jhirna, Dhela and Sitabani stay open year-round; the others close in the monsoon.
