About this location
A tiger reserve straddling Satara and Kolhapur districts in the Sahyadri range, one of the most biodiverse parts of the Western Ghats. Chandoli and Koyna are its two component areas, protecting moist deciduous and semi-evergreen forest with excellent tiger corridor connectivity.
