About this location
Known locally as the "Queen of Wetlands," Hokersar is Kashmir's premier waterfowl reserve, receiving hundreds of thousands of migratory birds each winter along the Central Asian flyway. Its marshes sit just outside Srinagar, making it one of the most accessible serious birding destinations anywhere in the Himalaya.
