About this location
A wildlife sanctuary in the Bellary district of Karnataka protecting a rocky scrub and open forest landscape. Daroji is one of the easiest places in India to photograph wild sloth bears — several dozen bears regularly visit the open rocky areas, especially around the beehive-rich granite outcrops.
