About this species

The Green-Tailed Sunbird is a gem of the Himalayan forests — males with an iridescent green-blue crown, purple malar stripe, and vivid yellow underparts. Found in forests between 1,500 and 3,500 metres. Arunachal Pradesh's forests and the Himalayan foothills of Sikkim and West Bengal host good populations.
